2012
A Chance Meeting.
OMNI Corrections is born in spirit when future founders Dusty Klingler and Nic Lamphear meet by chance and have a very nerdy discussion.
2016
Collaboration Begins.
With a common concepts in mind, a team is formed and work begins on early software development projects.
2021
A Problem is Identified
Shrinking budgets, increasing responsibilities, staff shortages, hiring freezes, and COVID-19 effects all begin to make correctional environments inefficient and incredibly dangerous.
OMNI RTLS LLC is Founded
The six Original members shared one common goal. Design and develop technology to make detention & corrections safer for all correctional workers, inmates, and the communities they serve.
2022
Research & Development
Long days, late nights, hundreds of thousands of lines of code and lots and lots of math.
Proof of Concept
All the hard work pays off. We exit research and development with a working early version of the OMNI Real Time Location System.
2023
On-Site Testing
The OMNI Real Time Location System is tested over two weeks in a vacant maximum security prison in Oklahoma.
2024
Public Launch
In June of 2024, from a small booth at the Missouri Sheriff's Association Conference, we officially began selling the OMNI Real Time Location system.
First Clients
By the end of that year we would have the pleasure of launching into four Missouri correctional facilities.
2025
OMNI Corrections
OMNI RTLS LLC is restructured and re-branded to OMNI Corrections Inc.
Product Refinement
GPS tracking is introduced and the OMNI RTLS platform is split into three distinct programs. OMNI RTLS Jail Edition, Prison Edition, and Community Edition are all launched.
